Honestly, you only really need about 10 Million to do everything. Go to Twitch and check out the islands, get a ton of Crowns and sell them for the Bells. It won't take too long to get enough money.

Yeah, you never know who else is on the island and what they want Royal Crowns or 30 Gold Nugget will both do the job. Once you have 20 Mil in the Bank then you have more than enough. Nothing stopping you getting more if you wish. Don't to the Billion with Turnips way

BTW, I did the Billion way, twice. It took ages to give all them Bells away! My game thinks I never did the Turnips now. It's not a problem as it won't ruin anyone's game.
