A new ac game will likely be much farther down the line than that. Mario games and Zelda games will always take priority over ac as there bigger sellers than ac.

I've read it's 2026 after new console launch.. obviously.. lol

Acnh is the 2nd best seller on the switch, only behind mario kart 8, so they will make a new one. Probably be a long time yet though.
