Not having played.enough in the season the items i needed were available..i did end up chosing alternate ways.. asking.. and.having just started experiencing the online ways and forums. I found that exciting as well.. as stated...it is a totally individualized game and you can play

Personally I think they ruin game 4 new players as they take away the 'earning it' however I use them for convenience now I've completed game twice :) but agree its all personal preference :)

I agree with all said, they are fun for players who have completed everything and want to do giveaways etc... but shortcuts take away some of the point of the game.

i think its okay. you don't need to use it i you don't want to. you can get villagers, items, and other things that could take while to get if you didn't use one
