What new characters and new features should be added into the game?

GYROIDS. And if I may be so greedy, some way of orchestrating them like the music composition feature in MarioPaint. Or at least have them recite your Island theme. That would be hilarious for visitors.

I'd also like to see the ability to customise Mario Warp Pipes in different colours to have more control over destinations - we can already recolour Koopa Shells and Mushroom platforms, so why not make the Warp Pipes more useful?

I agree with the warp pipes, that would be very useful. I kinda wish that we could also customize buildings (like the shops) so if you wanted to have a specific island them (ex: cottagecore) the buildings would match.
